Precollege

This program is intended for students who want to play and study music seriously and thoroughly; starting from the beginner to advanced stages. All aspects that support solid and basic music playing skills will be given in this education program; not only practical lessons, but also music theory, solfeggio and ensemble. Students who have passed this program will have enough skills and knowledge to further their music education to the college level.

The program consists of eight grades. As each student’s development may vary, the duration of the program is flexible. Practical exams are held every semester, so students with exceptional abilities can complete the program in four years.

Curriculum

This program covers the entire music education base that all students must have before they can continue their music education and training to higher level. Students who have completed this program will have a solid foundation of advanced music education so that they have the minimum skills to continue their music education to the college level.

The minimum completion of this program is equivalent to passing Level 8 of various international music practice certification examinations, such as ABRSM, AMEB, ANZCA, LCM, Trinity College. As mentioned above, the length of education depends on the progression of each student. The average duration is eight years, which is one year for each grade.
