Mikha Ogung Jonathan Panggabean (Ogung) developed his vocal skills under the guidance of Aning Katamsi (2013–2019) and Mark Chambers (2022–2023). He has actively participated in vocal and conducting masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Aivis Greters, Brady Allred, Simon Carrington, Ragnar Rasmussen, Avip Priatna, Aditya Setiadi, and others.

Ogung has been an active member of the Batavia Madrigal Singers since 2019. In 2022, he was part of the ensemble that won the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing in Tours, France.

In 2022, Ogung pursued a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, under the supervision of Prof. Simon Halsey. During his studies, he served as assistant chorusmaster for several prominent conductors in the UK, including Bob Chilcott (Birmingham University Singers) and Simon Halsey (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Chorus). He also performed with and contributed to the preparation of the CBSO Chorus for the BBC Proms in 2023.

Currently, Ogung works as a conductor, educator, singer, arranger, composer, and electronic music producer. He frequently collaborates with musicians across various genres, including Kerstin Behnke, Hindia, Lomba Sihir, Agatha Pricilla, Rubina, Reality Club, and others. He also teaches vocal studies at the Jakarta Conservatory of Music.

Ogung is the Music Director of Kancatala Ensemble, an independent choir based in Jakarta, and serves as assistant coach of the Hazael HKBP Menteng Children’s Choir. He is often invited as a choral clinician or guest speaker to conduct workshops for choirs and solo vocal training, and has served as a judge in solo vocal, choral, and vocal group competitions on various occasions.
