Each student is encouraged to take the practical exam after 4 terms of lessons. However, if the supervising teacher feels that the student is not ready, the practical exam can be postponed two terms later. Students who have studied at other schools may propose a transfer of grades for music theory subjects by attaching a legalized transcript.
